To do this, you must complete the electronic form that is enabled by accessing through the following link:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>Spanish Royal Decree 933\/2021: Frequently Asked Questions<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">The Royal Decree 933\/2021 of October 26th concerning data sharing obligation in Spain entered into force on January 2, 2023. The Decree establishes the obligations of documentary registration and information of natural or legal persons who carry out lodging and motor vehicle rental activities (<b>\u201cRoyal Decree 933\/2021\u201d<\/b>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">When will the obligations under Royal Decree 933\/2021 be enforceable?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">The obligations under the Royal Decree 933\/2021 entered into force and are fully enforceable since December 2, 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Which are the obligations foreseen under Royal Decree 933\/2021?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Royal Decree 933\/2021 foresees different kinds of obligations:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li7\"><span class=\"s2\">Documentary registration: The obligated subjects must keep a digital record of all the data required under Royal Decree 933\/2021. This record will need to be kept for 3 years after the check out date. Please note that non-professional hosts will not need to comply with this obligation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li8\"><span class=\"s2\">Data sharing: The obligated subjects will need to register themselves and their accommodations with the Ministry of Interior. Additionally, the data required under\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/diario_boe\/txt.php?id=BOE-A-2021-17461\"><span class=\"s3\">Annex I<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(in particular Sections 3 and 4) will need to be reported for each booking.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">Which are the \u201cobligated subjects\u201d under Royal Decree 933\/2021?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">All natural persons or legal entities carrying out or intermediating in hosting activities in properties located in Spain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Which information do Hotels need to share with Spanish authorities under Royal Decree 933\/2021?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">They will need to share information about the owner of the property\/the company managing the rentals of the property, the property that is being rented, the guests that stay at it and the rental transaction itself.
